Sainik School Counselling 2025
The All India Sainik School Entrance exams are conducted to have qualified students join the institutes, where they are trained to be part of the defence unit. The students who wish to be admitted to the prestigious school should secure good marks in the entrance exam. The counselling for the application and admission for the classes 6th and 9th.
The counselling is conducted for the seat allotment in all the Sainik Schools across the country. The students will be allotted a seat based on their marks in the entrance exam. The counselling process for Round 1 has been started on the 15th of March, 2025. The application filing process was active from 15h to 24th March 2025. Interested candidates have applied for the exam, and the results were released on 13th March 2025.
Sainik School Counselling Seat Allotment Schedule
The seat allotment is the schedule that is to be considered by the guardians on whether to Join, reconsider, or leave the institutes. The process for counseling for the first phase has been started, and the candidates will receive the results in the upcoming weeks. The allotment will be made based on the preference given by the students.
Those having their names in the selected allotment seats should confirm their acceptance before 10th April 2025. The candidates will be having the medical test, and the window for the submission of the document will be from 17th April 2025. The due date for the submission of the documents for the further process is assigned to be 27th April 2025. The counselling is scheduled for admission in the 33 Sainik schools across the country.

Sainik School Counselling Fee
The counselling fees are associated with the application form. The application fees lie between Rs500 to Rs650 depending upon the category of the candidates. Their reservation categories are associated with certain relaxations in the application fees.
The admission fees for the Sainik school are not the same as for the campus. It depends upon the location. The candidates are chosen for the studies. The total fees for admission fall under the range of Rs 1,30,000 to Rs 1,70,000. The fees cover all the expenditures from the tuition, meals, and pocket money to the refundable caution deposit.
Sainik School Counselling Process
The NTA is responsible for the entrance exam and the selection process for the Sainik school. The children who are in the age criteria of 10 to 15 years are eligible to apply for the role. The schools follow the CBSE syllabus along with the additional training for preparing for the Government Job. The school enrolled the students in the National Cadet Corps by the time they were in class 12th.
The scholarships are provided to underprivileged and intelligent students for residential and other expenditures. The admission will be granted based on the entrance exam marks. The test comprises Maths, intelligence, English, general science, and social studies, and for the class 9th students, the additional interview and the medical examination.

As per the reservation policy, 67 per cent of the seats are occupied by the home states, while 33 per cent are allotted for the other state candidates. The candidates must submit the medical test reports during the verification process.
